Total TIL
All 20 ESCs are state approved providers for all 3 instructional leadership pathways offered as part of the LASO 3 grant. Total TIL is the instructional leadership capacity building program that meets the requirements of both pathways that describe a ‘complete instructional leadership package’ . Total TIL will include a coherent scope and sequence of face to face trainings, implementation support visits, and 1:1 coaching visits with campus and district leadership that covers the instructional leadership best practices that are included in the Materials Internalization and Alignment, Schoolwide Culture Routines, Observation and Feedback, and Data Driven Instruction Texas Instructional Leadership content areas over the course of 2 years.
This opportunity is best fit for LEAs that are looking for support to establish foundational Instructional Leadership infrastructure and enabling systems, instructional leadership coaching tools and resources, and technical assistance to develop schoolwide culture routines to promote a productive learning environment, collaborative planning structures to strengthen unit and lesson internalization of select high quality instructional materials, establish short cycle coaching for teachers and leaders to promote continuous improvement, and expectations and processes to establish lesson level data analysis practices. It includes ongoing, job-embedded instructional leadership capacity building support for district leaders, school leaders/campus administrators, and instructional coaches.
